We’re looking for our very first Principal Engineer in Melbourne!
What would you be working on? Well, not long ago Zendesk officially acquired Outbound, a firm who had developed a product similar to the vision of our existing product Connect but was a few years ahead on their journey. Given that Connect was being driven from Melbourne, it made sense for the further product development to be based here.
The team is now essentially like a fast paced start up, but with all the benefit of having paying customers and the backing of a global corporate. We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join the team to drive the success of the integration, guide the technology choices, and own a significant, high profile product within Zendesk. You would report into our VP of Engineering & MD, and essentially be the office’s 2IC from a technical point of view.
