Full-stack Developer
We are growing our team in order to further develop and support our payments processing platform and are looking to hire a capable Perth based developer for a Ruby on Rails role.
If you have proven success in a commercial environment, thrive in a collaborative and complex development environment … and you enjoy coffee – you have the makings of what we are looking for.
You will join a small crew of motivated and awesome folks based in our Perth office in Western Australia on the Terrace, with many café and lunch options nearby.
This is a full time position and we are looking to fill ASAP.
Our Tech Stack and Environs:
- Ruby on Rails
- Tested on RSpec (Continuous Integration)
- Choice of workstation companion
- Linux server minions in the cloud (AWS)
- JavaScript for client side oomph!
- Persistence with MySQL
- Source control brought to you by the letters G I and T
- Orchestration with Salt
- Trello (to keep the wheels on the bus)
Requirements:
- Proven commercial development experience
- Understanding of and belief in good automated testing
- Willingness to learn
- Permanent Australian resident
Bonus points:
- Experience in a high compliance environment (PCI DSS)
- Security and coding securely
- Super solid front end experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
