About Pin Payments
Pin Payments is an intentionally simple yet versatile payments solution for micro and small businesses with a need to take card payments online. We’re building the systems that small businesses need to participate in the future of web and mobile commerce. We pride ourselves on accessibility, excellent customer service and clear communication.
Earlier this year Pin Payments was acquired by a big name in the payments space - Checkout.com. While we are now part of a larger organisation we operate independently and we have been lucky enough to be able to keep our vision and expand our mission. With the help of Checkout.com we have successfully improved our service and are looking to expand into new markets and offer additional features.
For this reason we are growing our team and are looking to hire additional capable Ruby on Rails developers.
You will join a small but growing milieu based out of offices in Perth and Melbourne. This is a full-time position for immediate hire. We work remotely much of the time.

Requirements
- Proven development experience
- Understanding of and belief in good automated testing
- Willingness to learn
- Permanent Australian resident
Bonus points
- Experience in a compliance environment (PCI DSS)
- Security and coding securely
- Super solid frontend experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
